The Gloria Ting Center

For over 40 years, Christians have found a home at Gloria’s. 

Gloria Ting, known as Ting Mama, opened her home in Harajuku several times a week as a place of refuge.

• To Christians who wanted to meet, pray and study the Bible together, in her home.
• To invite the unchurched, and new arrivals to Japan, into a social setting where they could learn of the Gospel,
• Where pastors could get to know congregation members  outside the church on a regular basis
• For all Christians to encounter Jesus who loves them and experience His love.

In 2019, the Gloria Ting Center was build and established to continue this work.  

• Continue Gloria’s work of outreach, discipleship and fellowship
• Be a place to remember and celebrate Gloria’s life
• Encourage cooperation among churches to work together and serve the world that needs Him
